Mary Lee Waffird, 85, of Ashland City, departed this life on December 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born February 23, 1940, in Nashville to the late Michael Leo Perisutti and Annie Marie (Cavender) Perisutti. She is preceded in death by sisters, Judy Ann Carver, Nancy Elaine Perisutti, Jean Marie Bennecke, and Linda Faye Perisutti.
Mary worked at Werthan Bag for many years. She was a member of Gray’s Point Baptist Church and attended Hope Worship Center.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Horace Andrew Waffird; son, David Wayne Waffird (Rose); brother, Michael Perisutti; sisters, Melba Renee Staten, Patricia Patsy Cripps (Donnie), Louise Denson (Dave), and Pam Busby; grandchild, Daniel Waffird (Blake); great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Carly, Shenna, and JoAnna; and 6 great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in the Chapel of Hope Worship Center with Connie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2025, from 11am to 6pm and Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 10am till the service hour of 12pm all at Hope Worship Center.
