Janet Lynn (Emmons) Bellamy, age 72, of Ashland City, Tennessee, formerly of Ewing, Kentucky, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
She was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on June 23, 1951, to the late Moody Emmons and Velva (Eubanks) Emmons.
She was a member of Ashland City Baptist Church. Janet was a graduate of FCHS Class of 1969. She worked as a cosmetologist and later for the State of Tennessee. She loved fishing and gambling.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Moody and Velva Emmons; sister, Judy Link; and brother-in-law, Barry Sims.
She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Rickie Pulley; sons, Shad Moran (Christy), Derrick Pulley (Candace), and Drew Pulley (Brittany); daughter, Shana Porter; brother, Jimmy Emmons (Bibbie); sister, Jerri Sims; brother-in-law, Don Link; grandchildren, Scotty Moran, Brooke Hinson, Kalen Porter, Kole Porter, Lynlie Pulley, and Kalia Pulley; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Friday, February 9, 2024, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Battle Grove Cemetery in Cythiana, Kentucky. Visitation will be the same day from 10 am until the service hour of 12 noon. Serving as pallbearers will be Shad Moran, Drew Pulley, Derrick Pulley, Kalen Porter, Kole Porter, and Kevin Porter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
