Jeffrey “Jeff” Parmer Smith, age 68, of Nunnelly, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on January 19, 1957, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Malcolm Hall Smith and Wanda (Cunningham) Smith.
He worked a variety of jobs, including as a truck driver for Milom and as a factory worker in Springs. Jeff enjoyed hotrodding, guitar playing, guns and video gaming, but he especially loved starting something and not finishing it. He loved his pets dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Wanda Smith; and brothers, Dan Smith, Bill Smith, and Ricky Smith.
Jeff is survived by his son, Jeffrey Austin Smith; daughters, Bridget Smith and Kala West (Joseph); sisters, Suzanne Gammon and Kay Ross (Alan); grandchildren, Mauricio Smith, America Smith, and Maliah Morris; great grandchildren, Maylee Grace Martinez; nephew, Cecil Gammon (Norri); and numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Funeral service will be Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 11am until the service hour of 2pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
