OBITUARY: Joann ‘Gail’ Carpenter

Joann “Gail” Carpenter of Kingston Springs, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. She was 65 years old.

Preceded in death by her father James Henderson; sisters Lynette Henderson, Sue Pitman, Faye Henderson; brothers Larry and Jimmy Henderson.

Gail is survived by her mother Marie Henderson; daughter Amanda Givens of Nashville, TN; grandchildren Kaitlyn Gupton & Abigail Givens of Nashville and Kelsey Kendrick of Kingston Springs; sisters Joyce Gentry of Cave City, KY and Barabara Wright of Kingston Springs; a brother, Donnie Henderson of Kingston Springs; several nieces, nephews, other beloved extended family and dear friends.

Gail was devoted to her family and worked as an office administrator for 30 years at MicroFilm Services to help support them. Her care and attention to her family, especially her children, led them through life with more love than anyone can imagine. Gail enjoyed watching television shows like “Judge Judy”, gaming for low stake wins and doing whatever her family loved to do. We will cherish our dear memories of Gail.

Visitation will be held for Gail on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 11 am – 1 pm, with a funeral chapel service to begin at 1 pm, all at Eastland Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 904 Gallatin Ave., Nashville, TN.
