John C. Boone of Ashland City, Tennessee passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at his residence, he was 75 years old.
John was born in Fairview, TN to the late John Christopher Boone and Effie Pryon.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Lampley Boone; daughter, Kimberly Boone Knox; brother, Cecil Boone and sister, Martha Sue Archey.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Baker Reeves; son, Jonathan Boone; stepsons, Elton Reeves, Butch Reeves, Jake Reeves; daughter, Julia Batte; sisters, Betty Jo Wheeler, Virginia Sullivan; grandchildren, Nick Knox, Stephen Knox, Skylar Lumley and 11 great-grandchildren.
John was a fun-loving guy who loved his family, dogs, and had a sense of humor that was infectious. He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Home with Jeff Archey officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM and Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
Interment will be at Lampley Cemetery in Fairview, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
