Jonathan Neal Coles, age 48, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
Jonathan was born November 23, 1975, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Johnie Coles and Sarah Ann (Neal) Coles.
He worked for the Department of Corrections as a commissary truck driver and was an honorary staff member of C & O Marine in White Bluff, Tennessee.
Jon is preceded in death by his parents Johnie and Sarah Coles; and grandparents, Charlie and Lucille Barnes, and Jimmie and Mary Lou Mills.
He is survived by his aunts, Frances Felts, Mary Ethel (Kenneth) Elam, and Judy Mills; uncle, Murray (Dean) Neal; loving cousin and caregiver, Karen (Troy) Galbreath; and other cousins, Beth, Don, Kevin, Angela, Kimberly, and Jenn. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brandy Trejo.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 30, 2024, at 11 am in the Chapel with Jason Bell officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm, and Friday, August 30, 2024, from 10 am until the service hour of 11 am. Active pallbearers will be Kevin Neal, Brad Galbreath, Richard Rediker, Jr., Don Felts, Troy Galbreath, Richie Harris, Bryant Harris, Steven Trejo, and Erik Trejo. Honorary pallbearers are Craig Odom, Joe Brundridge, and the Pro Staff of C & O Marine.
