Joyce Diane Owens Age 76 of Ashland City passed away on February 1, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Ms. Owens was a resident of Ashland City for 17 years and prior to that was a resident of La Vergne for 20 years.
She was born on January 12, 1946 in Pennsylvania to Mr. Howard Henderson and his wife Mrs. Doris Henderson.
Joyce was employed as a Corporate Medicare Trainer and worked with and for various companies throughout her professional life. She attended Harding University where she majored in English. Ms. Owens was a member of the Bearwallow Road Church of Christ. In her free time, Joyce enjoyed volunteering with a church group hand-making clothing for children in need overseas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Doris Henderson and one brother Jerry Henderson.
Remaining to cherish her memory are daughters Karen Hales(John) of Florida, Deborah Owens of Ashland City, and Melissa Malvik of Joelton. In addition, Mrs. Owens is survived by 7 grandchildren.
Services will be announced at a later time and are under the direction of Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City.
