Larry Leroy Murphy, age 80 of Chapmansboro, TN passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Larry was born September 28, 1943 in Wilder, TN to the late George and Daisey Murphy.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Kenny Murphy, Waylon Murphy, Jim Cade and sister, Geraldine Poteet.
He was a truck driver for a number of years and then worked as a drywall installer. He served his country in the US Army.
Larry is survived by wife, Rhoda Cooley Murphy; children, Pam Moot, Kim (Mike) Vanderburgh, Debbie Nichols, Gary (Barbara) Murphy and Patricia Murphy; siblings, Bruce (Judy) Murphy, George (Kathy) Murphy, Rick (Sandy) Barnes, Dwight Barnes, Terry (Debbie) Barnes, Tony Barnes and Sherry Barnes; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
His wishes were to be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
