Linda Jo Jackson, age 70 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center.
Mrs. Jackson was born on August 28, 1952 in Springfield, Tennessee. She was retired after 28 years with Gaylord Opryland Entertainment.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Abel Scott Kendzierski; mother & step-father, Mary & John Hunter; and father, Richard Martin.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Bobby Jackson; sons, Darrell & Charlie Jackson; daughters, Rhonda (Larry) Akin, Melinda (John) Thompson, Angel (Joel)Kendzierski, and Nikki (Stewart) Goodman; grandchildren, Maggie Jackson, Levi Jackson, Nick (Whitney) Akin, Mackenzie Akin, Justin Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Lindsey (Joshua) Alexander, Katie (Ben) Rabe, Scottie (Allyssa) Kendzierski, Audrey Goodman, William Goodman & Julia Goodman; great-grandchildren, A’miyah Lee, Aubree, Makai, Iman, & Honesty Jackson, Charlotte Akin, Jamison, Jackson, & Sophia Alexander.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 12th. Burial will follow in Mallorys Cemetery with her grandsons, and Joshua Alexander and Calvin Lee serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Saturday, August 12th from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 2:00 PM.
