Linda Ruth (Perry) Binkley, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Linda was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 6, 1948, to the late Woodard Perry Jr. and Lila Mai (Gupton) Perry.
Linda was a graduate of Cheatham County High School, Class of 1966, worked and retired from State Stove in data entry after 37 years. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodard and Lila Perry and brother, Frankie Perry.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carl Binkley; daughters, Gina Binkley Martin and Dina “TJ” Jameson; four grandchildren, Scarlet Martin, Jack “J.B.” Jameson (Harmony O’Guin), Kendell Martin, and Keri Jameson (Matthew Walden); and her beloved pet, Big Dog.
Funeral service will be Monday, January 13, 2025, at 1 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Will Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 2 pm to 6 pm and on Monday from 10 am until service hour of 1 pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Walden, Kendell Martin, Jack Jameson, T.J. Jameson, Caleb Cantrell, and D.J. Anderson.
