Margaret Mary “Dede” Fusco, 81, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2024. She was born August 14, 1943, in Bronx, New York, to the late William and Rita Gill.
Dede was a loving mother and devoted wife. At 5 foot 6 inches tall, she had a 10-foot presence. From a variety of odd and unique jobs to an accomplished career in sales and marketing, Dede always supported her family unconditionally. A lifelong creative spirit, Dede crafted art and knitted pieces for many of her family and friends. In the company of those she loved, she shared her sharp wit, keen sense of humor, and zest for life. She will be missed.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are husband of 36 years, Mario Fusco, her sons Richard DuBois, Christopher DuBois, and David DuBois, her daughters-in-law, Caroline DuBois, Trina DuBois, Magda Underdown-DuBois, her grandchildren, Rosabelle DuBois, Rowan DuBois, Alexa DuBois, and Liam DuBois, her brothers, Michael Gill and Liam Gill, her sister, Elizabeth Slattery, her sisters-in-law, Virginia Wright and Katherine Gill, her brother-in-law, Thomas Slattery, her nieces and nephews, Danielle Francabandiero, Eddie Francabandiero, Jeremy Francabandiero, Michele French, Glennis Swinson, Christine Gill, and Michael Gill, and her former spouse with whom she maintained a special friendship, Charles DuBois.
The family will gather on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Madison, Tennessee, to visit from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. An informal time of memory sharing will take place at noon following the visitation. Entombment at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery will take place immediately following.
