Mary Frances (Green) Chandler, age 96, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 22, 1928. She was born to father, Walter Green, and mother, Rosa Green. She attended First Baptist Church of Ashland City. She worked as a sewing machinist for Horace Small and ACME Boot. She also worked in childcare.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Green and Rosa Green; husband, Johnny Edward Chandler (1970); daughter, Judy Mai Nicholson; and grandson, Charles Edward Chandler, Jr (1993).
She is survived by children, Charles Edward (Kaye) Chandler and Johnny Wayne (Renita) Chandler; grandchildren, Tommy Nicholson, Cindy Stratton, Lisa (Michael) Herron, Matthew T. (Linda) Chandler, DeeAnna Jannelle Chandler, Johnny Edward Chandler, Vickey Smotherman, Russ Payne, and Amanda Payne; 25 great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Trent Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm and Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 9am until the service hour of 11am. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew T. Chandler, Johnny Edward Chandler, Zack Herron, Michael Herron, and Noah Smotherman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Forest Hill Cemetery Fund.
