Nat B. Ervin, age 82, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, July 26, 2021.
Nat was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee, on February 14, 1939, to the late Claude and Susie Kimery Ervin.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and worked and retired from State Industries as a maintenance foreman.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, C.K. Ervin, and sister, Mary Emilie Ervin Powell.
Nat is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Herron) Ervin; son, Ralph (Stephanie Mosley) Ervin; step-daughters, Pamela (Bill) Sexton and Gina (Brad) Suiter; sisters, Nancy Powell and Susan Callis; grandchildren, Sean Ervin and Brett (Krista) Ervin; step-grandchildren, Derek Suiter, Gabe Suiter, Ally Suiter, and Joshua Sexton; and great-grandchildren, Dean Ervin and Dawson Suiter.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 3 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Shiloh Hackett officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be Thursday before the service from 12noon until service hour of 3 pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Ervin, Brett Ervin, Gabe Suiter, Derek Suiter, Joshua Sexton, and Tim Forsythe.
