Paul David Smith, age 80 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 with Bro. John Box and Bro Ed McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with family & friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 3rd from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the hour of service at 11:30 AM.
Mr. Smith was born on October 5, 1941 in McEwen, Tennessee to the late Clyde and Agnes Smith. He was retired from State Industries in Ashland City after 40 years of service. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Lucinda & Bill Osborn; and brother, Joe Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Smith; son, Phillip David (Kathy) Smith; grandchildren, Caitlin Smith, Daniel Lovell, and Matthew Thomas; and sisters, Paige Holt, Mable (Reese) Cochran, Agil Howell, Bonnie (Ronnie) Himes, Helen Thomas.
