Perry Lane Freeman, age 65, passed away at his home on Friday, April 26, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Perry was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 31, 1958, to the late Walter and Sarah (Armstrong) Freeman.

He was a former Volunteer Fire Chief for Two Rivers Fire Department, worked in upholstery, and retired from maintenance from The Waters of Cheatham, where he took much pride in the building and its residents.

Perry loved his family, playing his guitar and mandolin, riding motorcycles, being on his tractor and doing word searches. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Warren Freeman; son, Patrick (Libby) Freeman; daughter, Amanda (Josh) Townsend; several bonus children, Amber Green, Autumn (Bradley) Clark, Alex (Matthew) Nelson, Dylan (Hannah) Donegan, Zack (Devon) Donegan, and Tabby Hoffman; grandchildren, Allie (Kage) Ferguson, Noah Townsend, Tori Freeman, Faith Hackney, Keely Freeman, Jackson Freeman, Lucas Freeman, Gabe Sanders, Gehrig Sanders, Sydney Rose Hoffman, Bradie Donegan, Marshall Donegan, and Eva Nelson; sisters, Janie Reisinger, Jean Yates, and Faye Allcorn.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Freeman and Sarah Solko; son, Kenneth Freeman; and brothers, Jimmy Jackson, Jerry Jackson, and Gary Freeman.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 3 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Leon Edwards officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday before the service from 1 pm to 3 pm.
