Renee Dean Marquiss, age 78, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 25, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Tuesday, December 30th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Jackson Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Brewer’s Chapel Cemetery in Chapmansboro.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 29th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Tuesday beginning at 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mrs. Renee was born on April 6, 1947, in Olean, New York, to the late Jo & Edith Bell. She was the owner and broker of The Cumberland Agency Real Estate Company. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, crocheting, and cooking. She was a very spiritual woman who began an online Bible study after being unable to attend services at Brewer’s Chapel Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles “Chic” Marquiss; and brother, Dennis Bell.
She is survived by her son, Michael Brandon (Dawn) Vester of Pleasant View; brother, Jerome (Connie) Bell of Clarksville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Myranda Lynn (Josh) Steinburg of Columbia, Tennessee, Stella (Sgt. Kyle) Fowler of Fort Stewart, Georgia, Shyann (Wayne) Watson of Proctorville, Ohio, James (Kaya) Ferris of Scottown, Ohio, and Noah Ferris of Proctorville, Ohio; and great-grandchildren, Annalee & Emmerson Watson, Ryder Ferris, Renesmae Rose & Remington Fowler.
