Robert “Bob” Lee Carr, age 83, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Carr was born on October 21, 1939, in Baxter, Tennessee, to the late Malon & Fannie Uhles Carr.
He was a retired welder from Herndon & Merry, Inc. in Nashville.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Ann Carr; grandson, Jordan Carr; brother, Buddy Carr; sisters, Sandra Neeley & Debbie Thompson; daughter-in-law, Frances Carr; and son-in-law, Paul Branham.
Survivors include his sons, Barry (Abby) Carr and Kevin Carr; daughters, Lurenda Branham, Paula (Gerald) Hatfield, and Jennifer Fowler; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at Joelton Hills Memory Gardens in Joelton at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 17th, with Bro. Jon Justice officiating. Burial will follow with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
