Robert “Bobby” George Hamilton, age 79, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on March 12, 2024, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Ashland City, Tennessee.
He was born on May 11, 1944, to the late Mary Helen Brooks, in Rumney, New Hampshire.
He was the proud owner of Bobby’s Tire Service.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Connie (Smith) Hamilton; sons, Robert Anthony Hamilton (Jennifer Strange) and Robert Burk Hamilton (Tanaka); daughters, Katherine Michelle Hoffman (Darrell), Lydia Michelle Lawson, Christine “Krissy” Diane Ferrell (Bubba), and Maryruth Hamilton Raines (Eugene); sisters, Nancy Henderson (Fred), Paulette Warner (GW), Bobbett Gunnells, Ramona Tobitt (Terry), and Annette Getselman; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Bobby is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Helen (Brooks) Reedy; brothers, Sonny Brooks, Leo Ralph “Tinker” Hamilton, William “Billy” Hamilton, and Oscar “Eddie” Hamilton; sisters, Judy Weisbrod and Ruthie Thompson; and great-grandson, Noah Taylor Cox.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1 pm in the chapel with Robert and Robbie Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Gibbs Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 2 pm to 7 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until service hour of 1 pm.
