Ronald “Ron” Lee Mason, age 95, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at his home.
Mr. Mason was born on May 9, 1928, in Gordonsville, Tennessee, to the late Walter & Frankie Gregson Mason.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and then worked for the Ford Glass Plant retiring after 35 years of service. Mr. Mason had many talents and hobbies including photography, basket weaving, flying lessons, gardening, operating a ham radio, and sign painting, which he did for the Army as well as for local organizations. He was a very active, longtime member of the church of Christ at Sycamore Chapel.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Mason; and brother, Robert Mason.
He is survived by his son, John (Jennifer) Mason; daughters, Jennifer (Chuck) Pace, Maggie Mason, Katie Mason, and Laura (David) Evans; grandchildren, Meredith (Jess) Landon, Hank Edison, Logan Edison, Mason Evans, Lena Mason, and Laura Mason; and great-grandchildren, Tucker and Bryce Landon.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 13th, at Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ with Darrell Binkley officiating.
