Roy Abner, age 92, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his home.
Mr. Abner was born on September 25, 1931, in Centertown, Kentucky, to the late Carlie & Nellie Barrett Abner.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Korea and was the former President and Chairman of Advanced Plastics, Inc.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Brooke Abner; sister, Zola Willcutts Bailey; and brother, George Abner.
Survivors include his sons, Keith Abner and Craig (Joyce) Abner; grandchildren, Aaron (Sara) Abner, Weston Abner, Callista Abner, and Kacey Abner; great-grandchildren, Levi Abner and Lila Abner; and nine nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 21st. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 2:00 PM.
