Shelby Jean Knox, age 82 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home.
Mrs. Knox was born on January 12, 1940 in Timothy, Tennessee, to the late Raymon & Julia Clark Davis.
She was a homemaker who was a very involved grandmother. She was a member of the Stroudsville Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Knox; and son-in-law, Richard C. Buck.
Survivors include her son, Michael S. (Anna) Knox; daughters, Joy D. Buck, Carol D. Knox, and Melony K. Sloan; grandchildren, Bradley M. Buck (Carrie), Jennifer A. Buck, Tera Melissa Lynn (Dmitri), Sarah Jeneꞌ Appanaitis (Peter), and Colby Timmerman; and great-grandson, Anthony Miles Buck.
A graveside service will be conducted at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville at 1:30 PM on Monday, October 17th, with Bro. Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow with Michael Knox, Bradley Buck, Donald Guthrie, James Yelton, Raybon Denny, Jr., and Ronnie Parker serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Monday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon.
