Shirley Fay Dunn, age 93, of Springfield, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at Northcrest Medical Center. Services are pending at this time but will be announced later.
Mrs. Dunn was born February 7, 1933, in Swainsboro, GA, to the late Dennis Ray and Osteen Hostilo Rountree. She was an avid Bridge player and loved to travel and go antiquing. Mrs. Dunn loved her family deeply and watching her grandkids play sports gave her great joy and was a true highlight for her. She was a Registered Nurse most of her life and she had been attending Springfield First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Mobley Dunn, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Mobley Dunn, Jr. and his wife Kresha; daughter, Mona Sutherland and her husband Neil; 6 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
