William “Sterling” Anderson, Sr., age 81, of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Anderson was born on June 7, 1943, in Nashville to the late George Howard & Nellie Berry Anderson. He was the owner and operator of Anderson Manufacturing and was a member of Harper Road Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Pete, Charlie, and Johnie Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Clouse Anderson; sons, Sterling Anderson, Jr. and Howard (Sonya) Anderson; daughters, Melissa (Wade) Campbell and Dian (Jeffrey) Oliver; grandchildren, Chris Holt, Christina Rush, Ashley Merritt, Eric Campbell, Emma & Abby Oliver, Kirstin Morrow, and Seth & Joseph Moseley; and great-grandchildren, Greyson Spann, Ayden Beazley, Everest & Ember Holt, Cash Rush, Kaide & Patton Campbell, and Loni Morrow.
