Roberta “Sue” Clymore, age 90, of Pleasant View, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at her home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 o’clock am, Monday, October 19th, at EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View.
Burial will follow with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Sunday, October 18h from 1:00-6:00PM.
Mrs. Sue was born on January 20, 1936, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Robert & Buena Cofer Batts. She provided childcare for many years for children in the community. She loved flowers and watching birds and bunnies. She also enjoyed plotting ways to permanently remove groundhogs from her yard. She was a member of Pleasant View Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Doug Clymore; sister, Blossom Trotter; and sons-in-law, Mike Walker, Gary Griess, and Doug Demonbreum.
She is survived by her son, David (Beth) Clymore; daughters, Vickie Walker, Angela Griess, and Linda Demonbreum; grandchildren, Audrey (Jhonas) Shores, Tosha (John) Helton, Jennifer Ashley, Joshua (Elizabeth) Demonbreum, and Amanda (Matt) Pulley; and 8 great-grandchildren.
