Thelma Irene Wilson, age 77, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 30, 1948, in Ashland City, Tennessee, to the late James Robert Wilson and Fanny Mae (Williams) Wilson.
Thelma attended and sang in the choir at New Hope Baptist Church. She was the entertainer of the family and loved having company. She always enjoyed making bows and flower arrangements.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, James and Fanny Wilson. She is survived by her son, Jason Wilson; daughters, Kimberly Elaine Wilson (Troy Bradley) and Tracey Denise Wilson; brother, Jimmy Wilson (Yvonne); sisters, Sue Wilson Davy (and brother-in-law Charles Davy), Virginia Mallory, and Glenda Brassell; grandchildren, Victor Wilson and Jasmine Wilson; and dear friends, Dorothy Collier and the Stratton family.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 3pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Reverend Jeren Grant officiating. Visitation will be the same day from 2pm until the hour of service at 3pm.
