Mrs. Virgie Marie Douglas, age 75, of Ashland City, Tennessee passed away on March 3rd, 2022 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Mrs. Douglas was born on October 25th, 1946 in Ezel, Kentucky to the late Harlan and Ethel Helton.
She is survived by her husband Donnie Douglas; son, Christopher Douglas (Mary) of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Lisa Douglas (Chris) of Chapmansboro, TN; brother, Earnest Helton of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Kaelynn Douglas, Heath McPherson, and Peyton McPherson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Everett Helton and Henry Helton; sisters, Louise Fugate, Bessie Porter, and Jan Asbury.
Visitation with the family will be at Boyd Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 3:00 pm-8 pm and again on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of service. https://www.boydfh.com
Funeral Services will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Monday, March 7 2022 at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Mallory’s Methodist Church Cemetery in Chapmansboro.
