Walter Baaske, Jr., age 90, passed away on August 26, 2023, at Vantage Pointe Senior Living in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Walter was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 16, 1932, to the late Walter, Sr, and Josephine M. (Niedzielko) Baaske.
Walter was a college graduate with a degree in accounting and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired self-employed accountant.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAnn Carol (Rominski) Baaske; brothers, William and Larry (Peggy) Baaske; sisters, Donna (LeRoy) Hosey, Colleen Sundberg, Geraldine (Cliff) Kurtz, Velerie (Ron) Des Laurier; and grandson, Jori.
He is survived by sons, Walt (Cindy) Baaske, III, and Peter (Pam) Baaske; daughters, Bobbi Friedman and Cari Reid; brothers, Ronald, Dave (Carol), Jim, Roger (Terry) Baaske; sisters, Diane (Maurice) Perkins and Bernadette Schranze; grandchildren, Gerry (Danielle), Niki (Michael), Christopher (Veronica), Jessica, Jo Anna (Darius), Brittany (Brad), Matthew (Lindsey), Brandon, Katie, Courtnie, and Calvin; and 16 great-grandchildren.
