Wayne Lovell, age 82, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at his home in Ashland City, Tennessee.
Wayne was born in Ashland City, Tennessee on February 26, 1941, to the late Stanley D. Lovell and Annie Belle Sanders Lovell.
He was a CCCHS graduate, class of 1959, and worked alongside his family at Lakeview Market.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Terry and Ray Lovell; and great-granddaughter, Nora Jane Presson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Shirley (Summers) Lovell; daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Ensley, Vicki (Paul) Presson, and Debbie (Tony) Harter; grandchildren, Zachary Presson, Hunter (Morgan) Beaird, Eli (Kayla) Presson, Alex Green, Paige Harter, Jacob Presson, Jack Beaird, Trey Beaird, and Brian Beaird; great-grandchildren, Natalie Green, Paisley Green, Olivia Presson, Lola Smith, and Amelia Smith; brother, Jimmy (Anita) Lovell; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 1 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Michael Guy officiating. Visitation will be Monday, April 17, 2023, from 12 noon to 7 pm and Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 10 am until the service hour of 1 pm. Burial will be in Shearon Lovell Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
