William ‘Bill’ Robert Pryor, age 80 of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, died Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.
Mr. Pryor was born on November 21, 1941 in Manhattan, New York to the late Francis & Mabel Troy Pryor.
He was a retired carpenter with over 34 years with the New York Board of Education. Mr. Pryor was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was of the Episcopalian faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Pryor; brother, Raymond Pryor; sisters, Dorothy Cullen, Veronica Richmond, Louise Pryor; and his son, John’s fiancée, Amanda Felts.
Survivors include his sons, Donald (Alex) Pryor and John Pryor; grandchildren, Ace Pryor, Brook Lynn Pryor, Grace Felts, and Joshua (Sabrina) Milliken; and great-grandson, Miles Milliken.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 17th, with Bro. Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with military honors. https://www.austinandbell.com
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 16th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM.
