Wilma Tinnin Pritchett, age 91, formerly of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her son’s home.
Mrs. Pritchett was born on September 23, 1931, in Huntsville, Alabama, to the late Homer & Florence Shavers Butler.
She was a retired proofreader from Harland Check Printing. She was also a seamstress for many years. Mrs. Pritchett dearly loved her family and grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Wilburn Tinnin, Sr.; second husband, Harold Pritchett; two brothers; two sisters; and step-son, Wayne Pritchett.
Survivors include her sons, Wilburn “Butch” (Sandy) Tinnin, Jay (Carolyn) Pritchett, Terry (Josie) Pritchett; daughters, Sherry (Pat) Johnson, Penny (Timmy) Plumley, and Rose Marie Perry; brothers, Homer (Faye) Butler, John (Corrine) Butler, and Larry Butler; sisters, Evelyn (John) Tucker, and Marylou Adams; several loving grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and loving nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 25th, with Chaplain Bing Davis officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville with Logan Benton, Eli Duncan, Michael Tinnin, Patrick Pritchett, Zack Duncan, and Ryder Williams serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
