In September, Serenity Sweets and Café in White Bluff closed. They are now starting to offer their pimento cheese, chicken salad, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and Pistachio Dubai brownies at Sweet T’s Gelato and Cafe. All of these offerings, plus more to come, will be available in grab-and-go containers. Serenity Sweets will also be offering catering and freeze-dried candies and treats through their website.
“I appreciate all of you who have supported and encouraged me,” owner Chris Bernicky said on Facebook. “I have enjoyed my time here with Serendipity Sweets!”
Bernicky was not able to make enough to cover her overhead. She hopes her customers will follow her to Sweet T’s, and through her website and catering.
A partnership with Sweet T’s is a great opportunity as the two businesses offer a complementary array of delicious treats. Sweet T’s offerings include small-batch gelato, freshly made waffles, savory soups, and a variety of ice cream flavors. They also have a full coffee bar with Italian espressos and coffee drinks with many flavors including sugar free.
Sweet T’s Cozy Café was originally opened in Kingston Springs in 2017, and then moved to White Bluff in 2020. Owner Theresa Chandler and her husband Steve wanted to bring the taste of real Italian gelato to Tennessee. They use imported ingredients from Sicily and local fruits. They are the winner of Best Dessert in Dickson County in 2021, 2022 and 2023, Best Coffee in 2023, and the winner of the Best Food Cart in 2021 and 2022.
Sweet T’s Gelato and Cafe is located at 4514 E Highway 70. The hours are Monday through Sunday 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
