Even though it’s December and everyone loves winter weather, the risk for severe storms is not necessarily over for the year for Tennessee.
The National Weather Service and Storm Prediction Center are looking at some severe storms rolling into the state tomorrow afternoon.
SPC has placed Clarksville and the western portion of Tennessee in the Slight risk, with Nashville and Middle Tennessee being in Marginal Risk, and Jamestown and eastern Tennessee in the regular thunderstorm category.
The photo from SPC’s website above shows the exact locations of these storm prediction placements.
There was an increase on the tornado probably for tomorrow afternoon up to 5%. This is subject to change based on the atmospheric conditions over the next 24 hours.
