SONIC is leaning into the annual “it’s fall in my heart but 90 degrees outside” phenomenon with Hotumn, a limited-time lineup of fall-flavored dirty sodas served ice cold. The drinks are available at participating locations nationwide and in the SONIC App beginning August 24. More Eat & Drink News
What Is SONIC’s Hotumn Lineup
Hotumn is SONIC’s take on the fall beverage moment — autumn-inspired flavors built for late-summer heat. Instead of hot lattes, the lineup puts fall flavor combinations into cold dirty sodas and iced tea.
The Four Hotumn Drinks
- Cherry Pie made with Coke: Cherry and vanilla flavors with sweet cream infused in Coca-Cola, topped with a cherry
- Blueberry Pie made with Dr Pepper: Blueberry puree, vanilla flavor and sweet cream infused in Dr Pepper
- Harvest Berry made with Sprite: Wildberry puree, cranberry and vanilla flavors infused in Sprite
- Cranberry Orchard Sweet Tea: Peach puree and cranberry flavor infused in freshly brewed sweet iced tea
How to Order the Hotumn Drinks
The Hotumn lineup is available at participating SONIC locations nationwide. Guests can also order through the SONIC App, where the drinks will appear under a dedicated Hotumn Drinks section starting August 24.
SONIC’s Hotumn Campaign and Caitlin Covington Partnership
SONIC partnered with content creator Caitlin Covington — known for fall photos that have become a recurring internet signal that autumn has arrived — to launch the Hotumn campaign. Covington recreates one of her recognizable seasonal photos while featuring the new drink lineup in a social campaign built around the idea that fall flavor season doesn’t have to wait for cooler weather.
