From Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office:
One person is in custody after police say they were involved in an accident on Hwy 12 North and Sweethome Rd with a high school student trying to get to school.
The driver fled the scene at a high rate of speed, passing a stopped school bus loading students.
This occurred the morning of 04/03/2023.
Cheatham County say the suspect was taken into custody with help from the community after posting photos of the vehicle.
