Tennessee State has released its 2026-27 Ohio Valley Conference women’s basketball schedule, marking the first conference campaign for Candice Dupree as head coach of the Lady Tigers. When Tennessee State Opens OVC Play
Conference play begins Dec. 11 on the road at Western Illinois. The Lady Tigers then travel to Southern Indiana on New Year’s Eve and Eastern Illinois on Jan. 2 to open the new year.
Tennessee State’s Home Conference Opener
Tennessee State opens OVC play at the Gentry Center on Jan. 7 against Western Illinois. The Lady Tigers follow with home games against SIUE on Jan. 9 and Morehead State on Jan. 16.
January Road Stretch and Return Home
Tennessee State heads back on the road to face Lindenwood on Jan. 21 and Southeast Missouri on Jan. 23 before returning to Nashville for home games against Southern Indiana on Jan. 28 and UT Martin on Jan. 30.
February Home and Away Slate
February opens with Lindenwood visiting the Gentry Center on Feb. 4. Tennessee State then travels to Morehead State on Feb. 6 before returning home to host Eastern Illinois on Feb. 11.
How Tennessee State Closes the Regular Season
The Lady Tigers wrap up the regular season with road contests at SIUE on Feb. 17 and UT Martin on Feb. 25, then close the home conference slate against Southeast Missouri on Feb. 27.
OVC Women’s Basketball Championship Details
The 2027 Ohio Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 3-6 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
