The Town of Kingston Springs is accepting sealed bids on the construction of an enclosed metal building to be constructed at the Town’s Public Works lot located on Valley Drive in Kingston Springs. Bid shall be for all materials and construction of building. Concrete, electrical, plumbing, insulation & gutters are not part of this bid.
A 30’ x 60’ clear span metal building with a 14’ clear height minimum. Building is to have three 12’ x 12’ insulated overhead doors, two 4’ x 7’ walk-in doors and a 15’ x 30’ lean-to. Exact colors TBD but the wall & roof metal will be in the Light gray color family. The wainscotting & Trim will be in the dark gray color family. Bids submitted should include:
• Total cost, including delivery and construction of building to turn-key state.
• Building plans and/or drawings of layout including front. Back, and side elevations.
• Warranty information related to construction and final building.
• Construction timeframe if bid is selected.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Selection of a recommended bid will be based on three factors:
• Quality of equipment being proposed and fulfillment of requirements
• Cost of completed building
• Estimated availability of building completion
The selection criteria are intended to allow the Town to select the bid that submits the best overall proposal and reflects that selection is not based upon cost alone.
