The Cheatham County School District announced a two-hour delay for Friday, April 17 as crews continue to assess road conditions and power outages after storms moved through the community.
School will begin at 9:45 a.m., while extended daycare programs are set to open at 7 a.m.
District officials say the delay is a precaution to help ensure the safety of students and staff as conditions continue to be monitored.
