What Came in the $7.99 Dave’s Single Combo
The combo included three items for $7.99:
- Dave’s Single hamburger
- Small Hot & Crispy Fries
- Small soft drink of the customer’s choice
How Wendy’s Made the Dave’s Single
The Dave’s Single was named after Wendy’s founder, Dave Thomas. Each burger was made to order with a quarter pound of fresh, never frozen beef, topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mustard, mayo and onion. It was served on a toasted potato bun.
When and Where the Deal Was Available
The $7.99 combo became available on Oct. 19 for a limited time at participating Wendy’s restaurants in the U.S. Customers could order it inside the restaurant, through the drive-thru or through the Wendy’s app and Wendy’s.com. Participation varied by location, so the app was the easiest way to check whether a nearby Wendy’s offered the deal.
