A woman was rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon after being shot in Ashland City, WKRN reports.
The shooting occurred on the 100 block of Mulberry Street and is believed by police to be connected to a domestic situation. Officers and emergency personnel responded quickly to the scene, where the victim received medical attention before being transported to the hospital. Authorities have confirmed that she is in non-critical condition.
Police have taken one individual into custody in connection with the incident.
