Helen Mae Dozier, age 92 of Ashland City, TN died on January 11, 2022 while at home with family by her side.
Arrangements are incomplete, a graveside service will be scheduled and announced soon. Bro. Doug Couch and Bro. Buford Woodard will be officiating.
Mrs. Dozier was born on March 20, 1929 in Ashland City, TN. She was a daughter of the late James Ervin Gill and Ettie Mae Osborne Gill.
She was a retired switchboard operator with South Central Bell. Helen actively volunteered her time to Goodlark Hospital in Dickson, TN, and St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was a member of the White Bluff Church of Christ, and recently attended services at the Petway Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Dozier Jr.; and her brothers, Raymond and Hollis Gill.
Mrs. Dozier is survived by her son, Bill Garrett (Sherry); two daughters, Teresa Klenk, and Cindy Burney (Jeff); her grandchildren, Daniel Jackson, Josh Garrett (Brandy), Ashley Dunlop (Drew), Kayla Allgood (Andrew), Abbey Guy (Jesse), Aidan Rankin, and Harper Rankin; two great-grandchildren, Emily Jackson, and Weston Garrett; her brother, David Gill, and sister Dorothy Hunter. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
