Comedian John Crist announces a one-night-only show at the Grand Ole Opry House on Sunday, January 25th. The evening, which will feature two opening acts, marks his first Nashville show in two years, following three back-to-back sold out shows at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium in January of 2024.

“The first show I ever did in Nashville was September 20th, 2016 at Mineo’s Pizza,” says Crist. “I literally don’t even know if that place is still there. I got to do a small show at Trevecca in 2017 and hundreds of sets at Zanies over the years, and got all the way to selling out the Ryman three times in 2024. Everywhere I go in this town, people come up and tell me the first show they ever came to. It’s just so fun to chat and remember. I’m honored to add the Opry House to the list of iconic venues we’ve played in this city. Can’t wait!”

Talent pre-sale begins Wednesday, September 17th at 10 AM local time, with local pre-sale starting Thursday, September 18th at 10 AM local time. Public on-sale begins Friday, September 19th at 10 AM local time, with tickets available via johncristcomedy.com.

The Georgia-native turned Nashville local has built a massive online fanbase of more than 7.5 million with his sharp, Southern-tinged wit and hilarious cultural commentary. In addition to his live shows, fans can keep up with Crist and celebrity guests on his Net Positive Podcast, which has featured Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell, comedian Dusty Slay, ESPN College GameDay’s Kirk Herbstreit, musicians including Jordan Davis and more.
