Connie Sue Bruce age 73, born April 19, 1948, died October 28, 2021.
Connie brightened the lives of all that knew her. Her works here on Earth were clearly guided by her Christian Faith. She lovingly served others in many roles including but not limited to: family matriarch, longtime member of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, confidant, and friend.
Mrs. Bruce was the wife of the late Kenneth Bruce, Sr.; daughter of the late Roy Lester and Nina Ruth Morris; sister of the late David Morris, Sr. She is survived by her children Robin (Barry) Ellis, Mary (Jack) Amburgey, and Kenneth (Tiffany) Bruce, Jr.; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 1 pm in the Chapel of Friendship FWB Church, with Brother Dwayne James officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship FWB Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 29th in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home from 2 pm to 7 pm, and on Saturday visitation will resume in the Chapel of Friendship FWB Church from 11 am until service hour of 1 pm.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all the caregivers who served Connie in the difficult last several months.
