David Lee Riggan, age 68, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 18, 1955, to the late James H. Riggan, Sr., and Neeley (Bobbitt) Riggan.
He served in the United States Marine Corps. David worked as a glazer in the glass industry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Neeley Riggan; and brother, Ray Riggan.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (McCarver) Riggan; son, Joseph Riggan (Samantha); brothers, Larry Riggan (Jeanette), Gene Riggan (Sandra), Harvey Riggan (Marcy), Tim Riggan (Nam), Bill Riggan, and Danny Riggan; sisters, Melinda Watts (Henry), Carol Davis (Mark), and Patricia Massey; grandchildren, Destin Riggan (Kristian), Jackie Riggan (Erin), Gracie Riggan (Dylan), and Michael Riggan (Cheyenne); and great-granddaughter, Penelope Riggan.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 12 noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Henry Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Neptune Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2023, from 2 pm to 7 pm and Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 9 am until the hour of service at 12 noon.
