Mary Tucker Townsend, age 90 of Kingston Springs, TN passed away Thursday November 23, 2023.
Born in Charlotte, TN she was the daughter of the late Henry and Metta Sarah Jane Epps Tucker and was preceded in death by her husband, James N. “Nehi” Townsend and son-in-law, Glen Finch.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Kingston Springs United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Teresa Townsend Hargis (Michael) of Kingston Springs, TN, Debbie Kay Finch of Kingston Springs, TN, James “Butch” Townsend, Jr. (Icesell) of Quepos, Costa Rica; 4 grandchildren, Michellle, Jason, Wesley, and Townsend; 6 great-grandchildren, Knox, Bella, Sophia, Ryleigh, Jaxton and Bryson; close family friend, Pam Williams of White Bluff, TN.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10 AM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Hubert Cunningham officiating. Place of rest will be in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family was Sunday, November 26th from 2 to 5 PM at Taylor Funeral Home. https://taylorsince1909.com
