Harold Dean Pylant, age 79 of Ashland City, Tennessee, died Sunday, November 7, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10th, with Bro. Greg Smith officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 10th from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
Mr. Pylant was born on January 4, 1942 in Ardmore, Alabama to the late Jvan & Lila Mae Hall Pylant. He was a retired truck/taxi driver and was a member of Clarksville Highway Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Reed; siblings, Donald Pylant, Brenda Ford, and Vanlon Pylant; grandson, Kory Reed; and great-grandson, Brantley Tucker.
Survivors include his daughter, Cindy (Kent) Mears; son, Brandon (Sunshine) Pylant; grandchildren, Jennifer (Doug) Tucker, Amanda (Chris) Sparks, Amy (Mike) Thompson, Kellie Reed, and Adam Foernsler; and 5 great-grandchildren.
