Linda Joyce Smith, age 80, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at her son’s home.
Mrs. Smith was born on April 26, 1944, in Michigan to the late Rose Greer.
She previously worked as a greeter at Sam’s Club and enjoyed going on cruises and baking. She loved her family and her pets and was a member of Pleasant View Community Church.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Lucinda & Bill Osborn; and brother, Paul Greer.
She is survived by her son, Phillip (Kathy) Smith; and grandchildren, Caitlin Smith, Daniel Lovell, Matthew Thompson, Christopher Farley (Heaven), Jeremy Meadows (Angie), and Nathan Farley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 o’clock noon on Tuesday, August 13th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Pastor Joe Jolly officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville with family & friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 12th from 4:00-8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 12:00 PM.
