Mary Boyte

Mary (Herron) Boyte, age 80, passed away on October 23, 2021, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mary was born in Chapmansboro, Tennessee, on April 27, 1941, to the late George D. Herron and Virginia H. (Jennette) Herron.

Mary was a member of the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church where she was a nursery teacher for 20 years. She worked over 40 years as a data processor for Miller Medical and over 10 years for A.O. Smith before retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Carl, Wendell, and Glenn Herron.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jesse Wayne Boyte; children, Lisa (Tim) Forsythe, Lee (Susan) Boyte, and Kerry (Kelley) Boyte; sisters, Marjorie Noel, Jeanette Young, Bonnie Ervin, and Carolyn (Danny) Dwyer; grandchildren, Erica (Nathan) Lane, Blake (Amanda) Bradley, Magen (Ben) Adkison, Ashley (Richie) Karch, Kelsey Forsythe (Dustin Johnson), Amanda (Larry) Noble, Carlee (Harrison) Boyte, Brandon Boyte, Faith Boyte, Trey Boyte, Logan Harris, Jessica (Alex) Harris-Mueller, Jonathan (Danielle) Woodall, and Trey (Macayla) Woodall; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 11 am in the Chapel of Bethlehem FWB Church with interment following in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday, October 25th, at the funeral home from 2 pm to 8 pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10 am until service hour of 11 am. Serving as active pallbearers are Brandon Boyte, Trey Boyte, Blake Bradley, Nathan Lane, Ben Adkison, Tim Forsythe, and Perrin Lane. Honorary pallbearers are Kendell Reist and Joey Knight.
