Robert Lewis Sullivan, age 86 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away, surrounded by his family, Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Residence of Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mr. Sullivan was born on February 28, 1937 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Verda & Laura Golf Hinkle.
He was retired from Acme Boot Company after 30 years and then became a taxidermist. He was always working in his yard and loved to fish and hunt. He attended First Baptist Church in Pleasant View.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Sullivan; brothers, Dale and Wayne Hinkle; and sisters, Phyllis Hinkle Beasley and Deborah Martinez.
Survivors include his daughters, Angela (Keith) Newell and Denise Cummins; grandson, Blake (Lacey) Jenkins; and great-grandchild, Gabriel Jenkins.
A private family graveside service will be held following the visitation, with Bro. Randy Riggs officiating. Pallbearers serving are Blake Jenkins, Keith Newell, Rion Edwards, Reagan Edwards, Bryant Newell, and Matthew Owen.
The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Tuesday, February 13th from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. There will not be a service to follow.
