This is the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Report for February 25, 2022, provided by the Sheriff’s Office.

And the week started off with more overdoses and traffic hazards. His boots were made for walking but not in darkness on the i-40 west bound lane. Lucky idiot. Suspicious people were reported and the law showed up on Lillard Williams, Ed Harris, Bloodthirst Hollow, Riverview and Bent Tree Drive.

There was a Ranchettes free for all with sharp words and loaded fingers pointing dangerously at each other. Both parties were highly “dog show, pony-faced” inebriated and were requested to sleep in different rooms.

An aggravated assault on Krantz Ct. included reckless endangerment when a macho guy was losing the argument. He further endangered his victim by shooting a firearm to make a cowardice point. His stupido bravado meant gringo jelly-jail time.

Some crystal rocks were stolen this week. Anyone with information about the sparkly stones will receive a one-million dollar reward and five tons of limestone gravel, happily delivered by Bruce Trucking. (Reward is prohibited in the state of Oregon and Kingston Springs)

Those darn teenagers are at it again at a Sonic near you. (Please see local listings) Teenagers need to understand: Doing mindless teenage pranks that involve exploding sonic blasts, stuffing cheddars with firecrackers, or the reckless attempt to let confused chickens roam the kitchen area is no laughing matter. Not only is it a health violation but somebody’s eye could be pecked out if this entitled white chicken privilege continues.

The SRO deputy’s garbled transmission of a missing three year-old quickly dispatched everyone to the elementary school. More information was requested as we all rushed towards her. The baby girl allegedly wandered off from the school’s drive-up line while her grandmother became distracted.

Swollen rapids are always unrelenting. Searchers first rushed towards all areas where a little one could be submerged or surlily, swept away. Confusion and then suspicion quickly set in when school cameras showed something different. Simple questions could not be answered.
Thankfully, a deputy arrived and found the sweet girl safe at home. A parents and first responders worst nightmare was quickly averted. Medical attention was given to the grandmother.

RYAN JACOB HAILE (pic) lives in Cheatham, off 41A, but was stopped in Spring Hill after being observed driving recklessly. HAILE was arrested for allegedly possessing heroin, meth, cocaine, cultivated marijuana along with a variety of illicit pills.

There was enough probable cause to initiate a search warrant on his Cheatham residence by sheriff’s drug agents. Evidence of drug manufacturing and wholesale dealing was obvious and recorded. HAILE, a convicted felon, allegedly possessed a variety of weapons that were confiscated in his home (2nd pic). Multiple charges are awaiting him in Cheatham as well.

Along with the week’s flooding, first responders stayed incredibly busy serving you.
Stay smart and safe this weekend, Team Cheatham. We like it when things slow down.
