Music will once again be filling the streets of Ashland City as Music on Main takes over the front of the historic Cheatham County Courthouse and the surrounding parts of downtown on October 7, 2023. From 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. there will be music; food trucks; and craft, artisan and community booths to explore, as well as the many downtown shops.

This free event will be celebrating its eighth year. In previous years there have been more than 130 booths and food vendors that packed the city streets of Ashland City. Applications to participate are still open, and will be open until September 25, 2023. Click here to sign up. They are accepting applications from food vendors, as well as arts, crafts and community vendors.

Organized by the Ashland City’s Event Committee, the event features a cross-section of music, from rock to country to bluegrass. Previous years have hosted musicians like Mel “Sonny” Tillis Jr. and Irene Mandrell. Closer to the event, the list of musical talent will be announced on Ashland City’s Facebook page.

Local home-based businesses, craftsmen and local artists see this festival as an opportunity for the public to be introduced to their products, and local nonprofits participate to raise awareness. There is something for everyone.
